&#8220;Old School&#8221; Problem<\/strong><\/h2><\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-2\"><p>Trinity Episcopal School in Richmond, Virginia saw the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of this approach.<\/p>\n<p>For over a decade, the 39-acre school has relied on American Time to help solve its challenges with synchronized time and bell schedules.<\/p>\n<p>The original campus buildings featured hard-wired clock systems, but expanding the wired clocks to the school\u2019s new buildings was cost prohibitive.<\/p>\n<p>Plus, it had to figure out how to extend its complex bell schedules that changed depending on the day of the week, weather conditions, late starts, half-days, graduations, teacher workshop days, and so on.<\/p>\n<p>Trinity was thrilled to find American Time.<\/p>\n<p>The SiteSync IQ Wireless system with wireless bells and\/or buzzer clocks worked with the older wired clock systems and the new building\u2019s wireless systems.<\/p>\n<p>This was the facilities support at Trinity. \u201cEven cell phone signals have trouble working in there! But we\u2019ve never had a problem with our clocks and we don\u2019t even need a booster.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Because SiteSync IQ works with legacy systems or new ones, wired clocks or wireless ones, Trinity has been able to expand synchronized time at its own pace as new buildings are constructed or as old clocks fail. \u201cI just swap out the old clock with a new wireless one, and when I come back to the room the clock is synchronized and running,\u201d said Jose Santiago, technology support at Trinity Episcopal School. \u201cPlus, they update for daylight saving time automatically, so I don\u2019t have to run around making sure the clocks are synchronized. in All Buildings<\/strong><\/h2><\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-4\"><p>Santiago went on to explain that bell ringing is crucial at the school, so the wireless bell system drives each day.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was a big breakthrough when we hardwired the existing bells with the SiteSync wireless system,\u201d he explained. \u201cAll of the clocks and bells are now controlled with SiteSync IQ and it\u2019s not a problem anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In the newer buildings in which wired bells weren\u2019t installed, Trinity installed clocks with built-in buzzers or wireless bells depending on the need.<\/p>\n<p>The reliability of the clocks and SiteSync IQ is very important to Trinity.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSeveral years go by before I have to replace the four-pack of batteries in each clock,\u201d said Bavaro. \u201cFor our clocks that have the new six-pack of batteries in them, I don\u2019t even know how long those will last.
